Samurai houses, Chiran: small city in Kagoshima prefecture, southern tip of Honshu, Japan.
Mostly known as a training ground for the Zero-sen (Kamakaze) pilots during WWII. We visited a museum about these pilots called "Hotaru kan" (Firefly Museum). Like fireflies, these usually very young pilots lived a brief life.
